These are lip-smacking good and easily a family favorite! Sticky Fingers are perfect as appetizers or party food, but we love them so much we often make a full meal out of them. Serve them on their own with corn on the cob, toss them on top of a salad, or roll them up in a tortilla for a fun twist.
We’ve tried lots of hot sauces, and Frank’s is by far our favorite, other brands just don’t have the same punch.
Ingredients:
-
1 bag frozen crispy chicken strips (25 oz)
-
1/3 cup Frank’s hot sauce
-
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
-
1 Tbsp water
Directions:
-
Prepare the chicken strips according to package directions.
-
In a small saucepan, combine the hot sauce, brown sugar, and water. Heat over medium, stirring until the sugar dissolves completely.
-
Remove the sauce from heat and let it cool to room temperature. (The thicker and cooler, the better!)
-
Place the cooked chicken strips in a large serving bowl. Pour the sauce over the chicken and toss gently to coat evenly.
-
Serve immediately and enjoy the sticky, sweet, and spicy goodness!
Tips & Variations:
-
For an extra kick, sprinkle in a pinch of cayenne pepper or smoked paprika.
-
Leftovers can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 2 days-reheat gently in the oven to keep them crispy.
-
Serve with corn, salad, or roll into a tortilla for a quick meal.
